buying a hamachi rod specifically an xos gtndoggie is like buying a lamborghini, it's very expensive and a little over priced, but you get things that other rods dont, lifetime warranty, the best customer support on the planet (you actually talk to a real person that knows fishing and rod building inside and out straight away, no matter how you try to contact them) you also get the best rod on the market, hands down never used anything like it, try it for yourself as writing about it doesnt do the XOS any justice
after 6 months of back and forth with my self, i finally bought an XOS gtndoggie and i can say with confidence i made the right choice
first time using my xos 3 piece i noticed how sensitive it was, like i could feel every drop of water hit my popper and it shocked me when i finally hooked a fish and felt how strong its back bone is
very good rod very happy catch big fish
so much power in this rod both fighting fish and casting
really good rod but it was longer than advertise...
this rod is perfect for me, me and a friend skipper half and half, unfortuneatly, he's really not the best at getting us in the right spot to cast at the fish, lucky for me that doesnt matter anymore, he can park us way off from where we need to be and ive got no issue casting right on top of the fish. if youve got a shit skipper 10/10 this is the rod for you
it's hard to spend this much on a rod, if you do though youll never go back to anything else
very light rod, i wasnt fully convinced it was rated to 50lb until i hooked my first fish on it!
